Lilly of The Valley

I just got these stamps from lili of the valley and I have fallen in love with them soo much they are soo cute.

The cute images are coloured in with my pro markers and the ribbons are from Angel Crafts and the flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts.

Kindness

I have found through my life that people are so kind not just people I class as friends and family but also can refer to complete strangers. My partner and I were walking our cute susie dog through the caravan park when this lovely man calls out from his van, asking us to just come over to where he was for a minute. When we reached him he gave us this lovely book and told us it was from his wife who had scene us every day walking our little dog. His wife was sleeping but she had left instructions with her husband that if he was to see us that he was to give us the book, The book is so sad it is all about a lady and her son trying to cope with life after her husband dies and leaves her a widow to bring up their son alone. To help with this she buys a dog a king charles spaniel. The story is how she learns to cope and love life again. What a lovely book and what a love couple.

7 today

This is a card I made for my niece Natasha who turned a big 7 today. I used a Mo Manning design and coloured her in with Promarkers.

The flowers are from an old Hot of Press kit and they are so cute. 

The pearl brads are  and are from Dear Lizzy + American Crafts from Angel Crafts  and the so, so cute rub on birdies are from Heidi Grace

I would like to enter this card into the Pro Marker Challege which was to contain anything to do with park life.

Thanks to everyone who commented on my last post. I am fine just be glad when the crutches have gone. On a happier not here is a card I made for one of my lovely craftswap.co.uk forum pals, where I am a member of a birthday card list. That I have been doing for years and have met some lovely talented ladies.

The image is another lovely one from whiffofjoy.com and coloured in with copic markers,

The flower and little bitty butterfly are Angel Crafts and of course the flowers are blinged up with a wee bit of sparkle  using stickles.

A+E late at night

Anyone who knows me, knows that I have been waiting for an operation on my knee. Well I have had it. I thought all was going well and left my ward for home, Once at home 2 hours later I was back in my local hospitol in A+E waiting to see a surgeon, as my leg would not stop bleeding, but he just patched me up again gave me pain killers and a set on crutches. Have you ever tried to use crutches when you have almost no co-ordination, let me tell you it is not easy. Anyway I am getting used to them now, but if you see me you would laugh I am such a sight.

  

Thank You card

This is a card I made for the lovely people from the caravan Park where I keep my caravan for all the help they have given me with choosing and setting up. I love the place. I made the card using a lovely Whiff of Joy stamp. and coloured her in with my pro markers. The flowers and ribbons are all from Angel Crafts. The gorgeous papers are from K & Co and I have blinged this all up with extra pearls and diamond stickles. I am going to enter this card into the challenge set by I love Pro Markers which is to do a card using pearls

Gone But not Forgotten

We have had some very sad news lately. My father in law died suddenly on the 15th May. he was a lovely man and I have so many happy memories of times that we have all spent together. He will be sadly missed but not forgotten.

All the ribbons flowers and butterflies are from a subscription ribbon kit called A touch of Prima from Angel Crafts those butterflies are so cute and of course they just loved being blinged up with a touch of diamond stickles.

One Little Word

If you are a follower of the fabulous Ali Edwards you will of heard about One Little Word . This is one word to help to describe your year ahead. I have thought about this so many times whilst following Ali's blog but there has never been a more appropriate  time or descriptive word that describes everything that is going on in my life at the moment and that word for me is CHANGE.

What does change mean? How will it help me in 2011?

Change priorities - Think about my future;

Change my living space - Make my living space more workable;

Become more independent - I can change for me;

Do more exploring - Get out and enjoy life

Concentrate on changing lifestyle habits - Change to more exercise and eating foods that are good for me.

 

Here's to a major change in 2011 - To a new and improved life to live
